This weeks absence is not as good as last weeks with Class 1 and Class 3 both in the red zone, under 94%. We have no classes reaching 100% attendance this week, which is sad to say! We are aware that some absences are due to appointments and illness and we ask if you could continue your cooperation with the school office and inform us if your child is unwell or does have any appointments so we have evidence of why your child is or has been absent.
Keep following our absence updates to find out the next 100% attendance reward for the pupils that have attended school every day for an entire term!
Absence for week 11 is not the best we've seen this term with Class 3 dipping to below 94% and classes 1,4,5 and 7 not far behind! It is sad not being able to congratulate any class for having 100% attendance throughout the whole week unlike we have done for the past couple of weeks. Thank you to all parents who have been bringing their child to school on time and letting the office staff know if their child has any appointments in advance, also for calling to inform us that your child is absent due to illness.
For having 100% attendance in Autumn Term 2 we will be awarding children with Cinema Gift Cards to go and see films of their own choice with the family. Good luck and keep up the good attendance!
We have raised over £150 for Children in Need today. We have finished the week with singing, dancing, eating and having fun. Before the weekend starts though;
Thank you to the parents and pupils for this Sunday's Rememberance Service.
Thank you to the all of the teaching staff in school for organising lots of 1940's activties.
Thank you to veteran soldier Jack Watson for coming to school and meeting our children.
Thank you to Mrs Merrie for a wonderful window display.
Thanks you to the Alka Selzter Sisters for singing and dancing.
